Unleashing the "kid" in us at The Mind Museum
What started out as a simple date at the San Agustin Church Museum, turned out to be the new born hobby of the boyfriend and I. To date, we've also been to Ayala Museum, The National Museum of the Philippines and the fourth and most recent - The Mind Museum.
Let me just share with you first some highlights of the three previous museums. San Agustin Church Museum was I guess the most memorable since it was also the day we officially became together. There were life size relics of saints and other antiques found during the Spanish Era. On the time we visited the Ayala Museum, the main highlight of their exhibit are gold relics found in different caves around the country. It is a four story building and is well maintained with full blast air conditioning units and properly functioning elevators. It should be the case since the entrance fee is quite pricey at PhP 425.00 for regular admission and non-resident (of Makati). What we enjoyed most at The National Museum of the Philippines were the many different display of paintings of various national artists. Our most favorite - Spolarium by Juan Luna. The entrance fee is very affordable at PhP 150.00.

We were in awe upon seeing this huge canvas. |
Just recently, adding to our bucket list of museums-to-be was The Mind Museum. We were lucky to have gift certificates that day but for normal rates, it may vary since they give discounts for public school students and children as well as if you're going for only three hours or an all day pass, you can check the prices here. The place is a venue for interactive learning that even adults can enjoy too. There are also continuous 10-minute shows that you can catch on topics like evolution and solar system. To further visualize the trip, below are our photos. Take a guess on who enjoyed the most. =)
So, would we recommend it? Of course! Bring the whole family, friends and special someones with you! =)
