Hola! It's been a while since I wrote about the boyfriend and I's food escapade. The reason would be either of the two: (1) we are (still) trying to control our weight or (2) we eat at our usual "go-to" restaurants. So, we recently discovered a gem in the south which all fans of flavored chicken wings will surely love. The restaurant is called Wing Bites. The good news is, if you go there the soonest, you might be able to enjoy their unlimited wings promo. Don't you just love limitless number of servings that comes with an affordable price?

Are you up for the challenge? |
Wing Bites is a restaurant situated at Muntinlupa City. It is not hard to locate since it is the first establishment you see when you reach the end of Susana exit. Although it is situated in the main highway, parking should not be an issue because there is an available pay parking at the basement for only P20.00. Yes! Swak pa rin sa budget! One of the few perks in the South area that I truly love - free or cheap parking. The place is simple and will give you that "pang-masa feel." They don't have waiting area so you better come in before or after the usual lunch or dinner schedule so as to avoid long queue. We arrived at 1PM but there were only two tables available.

Their menu is limited to only fried wings, thus the restaurant's name. Their selling point lies in the variety and uniqueness of flavors or sauces that coats the wings.
 |
According to their servers their best sellers include: The Classic, Honey Barbeque, Parmigiano, Sweet Sriracha and Buffalo. |
 |
The unlimited wings meal is P199.00 inclusive of 1 serving of rice. As for the drinks we ordered bottomless iced tea. |

Verdict: What's nice with their wings is that it is served straight out from the fryer so you're assured that it is only cooked upon ordering. Here are my takes on the flavors:
- The Classic is your usual fried chicken but honestly, I would still prefer my mom's cooking because you can very well taste the garlic and egg flavor. With their version, I can only taste a few salt and flour. As a matter of fact, if ever you will eat this directly after consuming a flavored one, it's like eating a tasteless chicken.
- Buffalo tastes too tangy for me although the boyfriend approves of it. There is also a kick of spiciness but not too much.
- Sweet Sriracha is the flavor I loved the most! It is spicier compared to Buffalo. I'm also guessing that the spiciness helped in fighting the "umay" given the sweetness.
- Honey Barbeque is also good but I found it sweeter than the Sweet Sriracha making it at the once-is-good-enough list.

Overall, it is highly recommended. It is inexpensive and with the promo, you surely get more than what you pay for. If I may just suggest, I think they should add air conditioning units inside the restaurant but it would be a challenge to keep the wings tasting excellent despite it getting cold. They could also offer chicken strips but I guess the name of the restaurant limits their products. Nevertheless, we are planning to go back to try the other interesting flavors. But first, time to burn the calories... 💪
